"We started bringing our dog, Mojo, to AquaDog after a very serious surgery he had. We wanted him to recover as quickly as possible. But we have STAYED with AquaDog ever since because, not only did Mojo quickly recover, he is now a super strong and very vibrant 80lb dog - at 14 1/2 years old!!! AquaDog is certainly the best aqua therapy there is....but Connie brings SO MUCH MORE to every session. From stretching to swimming to amazingly helpful tips and suggestions about the care of dogs - Connie is the BEST. AquaDog has been so amazingly good for Mojo that we now bring his 10 year old brother too! AquaDog will always be part of our dog regimen!"

AquaDog helps younger dogs not only rehabilitate from injuries but also get stronger in preparation for surgery or facilitate post-surgical recovery.
Bandit's Story
" I recommend Aquadog to every dog owner that is looking for a safe environment for swim therapy. I found Aquadog after my one year old dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. He was in a lot of pain and having a hard time getting around.
From the first session, Connie's love for the dogs she treats was infectious. Bandit is a big dog, about 90 pounds, and he had never swam before and is very stubborn. He was very reluctant to get in the water and not comfortable swimming. Connie got him in and helped him get used to being in the water. She was so patient.
Bandit's pain levels went down and his quality of life went up after just a few sessions. As young dog, swimming gave him a safe way to get the exercise he craved and an opportunity to build strength back in his hips.
During the pandemic, as we waited for surgical centers to re-open, Aquadog was Bandit's lifeline. Without it, he would have been in constant pain during the year had to wait for surgery. Ultimately, Bandit had a hip replacement and we went back to Connie after the surgery.
Connie was instrumental in getting his strength and mobility back in a safe and fun environment. Bandit will be turning 5 in a few weeks and we still try to see Connie almost once a week. Because of Connie, swim therapy is Bandit's favorite thing to do and a great way to keep his new hip strong. "

Senior dogs can benefit greatly from aquatherapy. As dogs age, joint health becomes increasingly more important. As dogs begin to age, their joints can become stiff and painful, causing them to slow down. Aquatherapy is fantastic for senior dogs because water can provide enough resistance for a dog to get a great workout without impacting their joints.
Zoey's Story
"AquaDog Canine Swim Therapy has been a wonderful way to keep my dog, Zoey, mobile and keep her joint stiffness to a minimum. Connie clearly has a way with dogs and puts your dog's comfort and care above everything else.
When Zoey first started aquatherapy, she hated the water. Connie was able to coax her in and get her moving. Now, years later, Zoey still enjoys her daily walks and loves to swim in her aquatherapy sessions. She actually jumps into the water now! I believe that Zoey's overall physical health has improved since she started aquatherapy and her senior joints are still doing well. Thank you Connie!" - E. Brown, Client of 4 Years
Poochy's Story
" We started water therapy with Connie when Poochy was almost 13 years old. The water therapy has helped a lot with his back and arthritis problems due to aging especially in the winter months.
We did this on regular basis until he was almost 17 years old. Connie cared about her client's well being and would put the dog first before everything else. She customized his therapies based on his specific needs and has been very understanding & flexible when unexpected incidents happened.
I would recommend Connie and her therapy. When my second puggle reaches senior age, I would definitely bring her to Connie's water therapy. Thank you, Connie for all of you have done for Poochy."

"Our 13 year old husky Sunny began swimming with Aquadog about 6 months ago, at a point when she was losing muscle mass at a pretty rapid rate and forgetting to use her back legs. Due to her age, we didn't feel we could walk her long or vigorously enough to help with those problems, and we thought that swim therapy might be a good option; fortunately, our vet agreed. It worked. Well, she didn't become a 5 year old again, but there is a noticeable spring in her step, she can be coaxed into using her back legs more in the pool, and because of her returning strength, we can also do more land activities that help her as she ages. Sunny loves getting into the car and coming to Aquadog. Aquadog is helping us make her golden years/months as healthy and happy as possible. We are very happy with how Sunny is responding to Connie and the environment at the pool. Cannot recommend highly enough." - J. Mardell
